Patricia (Trish) Lund

Trish is based in Thames but does travel to Paeroa to see some clients.

Trish is a counsellor who specialises in working with those who have experienced sexual abuse, trauma, family violence, relationship injuries, alcohol and other drugs, life transitions changes, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and low confidence. She also works with children, young people, adults (men and women), Maori, Pacific Island and Asian people.

She says her modalities include Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Client Centred counselling.

She believes that counselling is about listening with empathy and sensitivity, being non-judgemental and respectful. Working together to explore and to give meaning to your life's experiences. She has many years experience working with ACC sensitive claims and supporting people through this experience. She says she can assist you to develop skills, build confidence and inner strength and to create new options to deal with life issues more effectively.
