At CAPS our Youth Workers cover:

What we do depends a lot on you. We are not here to lecture you or judge you.
We can Advocate with you, or on your behalf with: WINZ, Police, CYF, Youth justice, school meetings, doctors, parents and whanau.
Provide Support with youth events, initiatives, forums and groups focused on giving youth a voice on matters that concern them.
We can Support you around furthering your education, employment opportunities, cultural support and meeting people your own age
Education programs and training around youth rights, self esteem, abuse awareness, bullying, life skills…
How do we meet with you?
To meet with us you can either come and see us, or we can come out to your school, home, or a place we agree is comfortable for us.
During working hours we can be contacted via text, telephone, email or contact the main office for further information. You don’t have to come a particular number of times, come as little or as many times as you like and it doesn’t cost anything.
